Douglas vibes and great eats 🌊
Staff were super friendly and catered to my vegan needs at brekkie. The evening entertainment totally surprised us, so lekker! Our room was comfy and clean, seemed like home.
Only thing, the entrance steps were a bit steep, not ideal.

Good location on the edge of the city centre
Unfortunately, no hotel parking spaces, parking search at the main road may be somewhat difficult.

Although we arrived completely wet by bicycle (touring cyclists), there were not the slightest inconveniences or problems! Unfortunately this is not always the case ...

We recommend this hotel to friends, loved it. The breakfast is delicious and incredible, with sweet food, cheese and an excellent chef. The location is unbeatable, 15 minutes' walk to Gaiety Theatre.
Views are not very nice.

Great vibes and view
Super easy to find right on the promenade! The staff were super friendly and helped with everything. Breakfast was a solid buffet with decent options. Our room was clean and cozy but pretty hot even with windows wide open. A nice stay!

Room 205 was a newly refurbished large room with a view.It was clean,we were provided with good quality towels, bathroom was a good size.Overall it was excellent.
Breakfast was disappointing. There was no fresh fruit, only tinned mandarins, tinned prunes, tinned grapefruit, served with cereal.. Main course consisted of bacon, egg, sausage, hash browns, tinned beans, tinned tomatoes. One day, the radio was blaring in the dining room and the staff were going about singing - preparing for the x Factor possibly?? Hotel appears to cater for the turkey and tinsel type of crowd rather than individuals.

room with two single beds, but we had asked for a matrimonial one. Also, bad location of the room

Rooms are spacious and kept clean, with efficient breakfast service that offers a variety of options, including fresh fruits and warm dishes. The staff is great. Noise from kitchen ventilations can disturb sleep early in the morning, and managing the steep entrance steps is a bit of a challenge, especially when carrying luggage. Some rooms may also lack sufficient ventilation, leading to warmth at night.

Good enough hotel. Small corridors and lots of stairs. Ideal location and good enough for my business trip.

We had a spacious, comfortable room overlooking the sea front. The staff were all pleasant and efficient. The food was of a very good standard and was good value - as was our whole stay.
We were the only couple in the hotel who were not with a coach party and so we didn't know where we would be sitting each time we went to the restaurant and we felt a little bit like second class citizens at times! We were surprised there was not more tourist information available in the foyer.
